My Journey: From Bulgaria to London.

Fashion has shaped my life since childhood in Bulgaria, where I started by making clothes for my dolls. Soon, I began designing for my loved ones and eventually took the leap to create clothes for clients. I still remember the thrill of opening my first atelier and store, funded by my parents and launching my first brand. The challenges were just as vivid—I received an invitation to a fashion event in London in 2008, right as the financial crisis hit. That chapter remained in Bulgaria.
In 2015, a personal issuet pushed me to make a bold decision: leave everything behind and start fresh in London. Moving wasn’t easy. My child stayed in Bulgaria with my parents, and I felt the pain of watching everything I had built slip away. But I refused to give up. I was determined to rebuild my life and rise like a phoenix from the ashes.

A New Beginning.

For a while,I stepped away from fashion and pursued a  Bachelor degree in Business and Management. Though I felt proud of that achievement, my passion for fashion never truly faded. It reignited when my marketing professor told me my business idea could succeed. That single comment sparked something inside me, and soon I found myself dreaming about fashion again, ready to create a new brand that embodied my beliefs.
As I was about to launch, the pandemic hit. My plans were thrown into chaos. To adapt, I started sewing and selling masks to survive. But the dream stayed alive. After the pandemic, I returned to Bulgaria with my vision intact. In March 2022, I showcased my collection at London Fashion Week. That moment told me it was time to bring Bibi Sakalieva to life.

Why I Create?

Women inspire everything I do. Like many, I have struggled with self-criticism and striving to fit into the standards set by fashion magazines. But I came to realize perfection isn't the goal. This realization drove me to create beautiful clothes for all body types. When I design a piece, I try it on myself—if it flatters me, I know it will look great on other women, too.
Throughout my career, I’ve met many women who aren’t fully happy with their appearance. But I believe every woman is beautiful—it’s just about finding the right clothes to let that beauty shine. That’s why I focus on creating designs that boost your confidence and help you feel like the best version of yourself. My clothes are meant to fit and flatter all body types, making every woman feel special.
